On November 6th, 2025, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) proudly hosted the 2025 Annual Assembly of the University Network for Tropical Agriculture (UNTA) under the theme “Green Transformation in Tropical Agricultural Universities.”
On November 5th, 2025, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) solemnly hosted the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony with the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), Taiwan. The event marked an important milestone, opening up new opportunities for collaboration in training, scientific research, and academic exchange between the two universities.
In response to the spirit of creativity, responsibility, and dedication of young people, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF), in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Vietnam, organized the event “Youth Innovation for a Sustainable Food Future” on October 31st, 2025.
On October 20th, 2025, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) was honored to welcome a delegation from the Embassy of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Vietnam for a visit and working session at the university.
On the morning of October 17th, 2025, Dr. Nguyen Van Tao – Secretary of the Party Committee of Thai Nguyen University visited and presented support gifts to Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF), which had been severely affected by Typhoon Matmo (Storm No. 11).
“A Sustainable Future: Smart Use of Waste and Energy” To promote scientific initiatives and strengthen international cooperation in climate change response, on October 14th, 2025, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) solemnly organized the 2nd Thai Nguyen International Conference on Climate Change, with the theme “A Sustainable Future: Smart Use of Waste and Energy.”
To promptly visit, encourage, and share with the staff, lecturers, and students of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) after severe flooding, on October 13th, 2025, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong – Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, together with Mr. Pham Hoang Son – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and a provincial delegation visited the university to inspect, direct recovery efforts, and express support for the institution affected by the natural disaster.
On October 4th, 2025, at Hiroshima University (Japan), Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the Distance Learning Bachelor Program for Vietnamese students and the Vietnamese community living, studying, and working in Japan.
As part of the collaboration between Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) and the U.S. Grains & Bioproducts Council (USGBC), a training workshop titled “Poultry Feed Formulation” was held on September 23rd, 2025, at TUAF.
In the vibrant atmosphere of enthusiasm welcoming the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Thai Nguyen Province, Term 2025–2030, the entire staff, lecturers, and students of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) express their profound trust in the leadership of the Party and their great expectations that the Congress will open a new, breakthrough, and sustainable stage of development for the province.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hung Quang – Rector of TUAF; Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Van – Vice President of the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association (VOAA); and Dr. Do Tuan Khiem – Secretary General of TUAF’s Organic Agriculture Sub-Association.
On the morning of June 2, 2025, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) held a working session with WSY Vietnam Co., Ltd. to discuss, reach consensus, and proceed to sign a cooperation agreement in the fields of training, internship, and development of high-quality human resources for employment in Japan.
On April 15, 2025, TUAF hosted an incredibly insightful seminar on carbon emissions at the university, aiming to create a more sustainable campus environment. It was also an opportunity for students and faculty to gain a deeper understanding of how to assess and reduce the environmental impact of our activities.
On April 12, 2025, Lao students studying at the University of Agriculture and Forestry warmly celebrated the traditional Bunpimay New Year Festival, embracing their cultural heritage in a festive and heartfelt atmosphere.
On March 28, 2025, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) organized a seminar titled: “Professional Exchange with Professors from Hiroshima University, Japan.”
