Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry collaborates with WSY Vietnam Co., Ltd. on training and human resource development for employment in Japan

On the morning of June 2, 2025, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) held a working session with WSY Vietnam Co., Ltd. to discuss, reach consensus, and proceed to sign a cooperation agreement in the fields of training, internship, and development of high-quality human resources for employment in Japan.

Representing TUAF were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hung Quang – Rector of the University; Dr. Duong Van Thao – Head of the Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation; Dr. Nguyen Thi Giang – Deputy Head of the same department; along with leaders from the Center for Admissions and Communication, the Faculty of Natural Resource Management, the Faculty of Agronomy, the Faculty of Forestry, the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, the Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology, and other interested lecturers.

On the side of the partner, participants included Mr. Hachiro Yoshinori – Director of the Asia-Japan Human Resource Development Association; Ms. Luong Thu Huong – Director of WSY Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Mr. Luu Dinh Tuyen and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy – staff members of the company.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the need for training human resources with professional competence and work ethics to meet employment demands in Japan in fields such as agriculture, forestry, and resource management. They also agreed on specific areas of cooperation, implementation timelines, and coordination mechanisms for each phase.

The session concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking an important starting point in the partnership between TUAF and WSY Vietnam Co., Ltd. This agreement opens new opportunities for TUAF students to access training, internship, and employment programs in Japan, contributing to the enhancement of education quality in alignment with international labor market demands.
