Attending the meeting from TUAF were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hung Quang – Rector, Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu – Director of the Center for Geo-Informatics, and Dr. Dao Thi Thanh Huyen – Deputy Head of the Office of Advanced Programs. From NCU, the delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Chang Chung Pai – Head of the Office of International Cooperation.
Opening the session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hung Quang expressed his pleasure in welcoming the delegation from Taiwan and emphasized the importance of expanding international collaboration in research and education. He expressed hope that the meeting would lead to many fruitful cooperation opportunities, especially in the fields of smart agriculture, biotechnology, and environmental science.
Prof. Dr. Chang Chung Pai introduced an overview of National Central University and its ongoing international cooperation programs. He highlighted that NCU is always ready to collaborate with TUAF to promote joint research projects, student and faculty exchanges, and the development of joint training programs.
During the meeting, both sides discussed future collaboration opportunities to foster student and faculty exchanges and launch joint research initiatives. The delegation also expressed interest in TUAF’s key research areas, particularly its advanced academic programs and the application of technology in agriculture.
The meeting concluded in a friendly and optimistic atmosphere. Both parties committed to strengthening their long-term partnership to enhance the quality of education and scientific research. The visit of the NCU delegation not only opened up new avenues for cooperation but also reaffirmed TUAF’s role and position in the network of international academic collaboration.
