Attending the meeting with the Delegation of the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development, from the University TUAF side, there were: Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Hung - Secretary of the Party Committee, school broad president, Dr. Duong Van Thao - Head of Science, Technology & International Cooperation Department, Dr. Ho Ngoc Son - Vice Dean of Faculty of Forestry. On the side of the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development, Prof. Dr. Carsten Mann - Deputy dean of the Forestry and Environment Faculty, Dr. Kevin Beiler - TranSEA Project Coordinator.
Since 2019, two universities have signed an inter-institutional agreement to promote cooperation and exchange in education and research. Both institutions have agreed to support the exchange of students and academic staff to respective partner university. The purpose of the visit of HNEE’s delegation is to promote the existing cooperation, to deepen the international between HNEE and TUAF while promoting common areas of interest, and to meet university leadership and lecturers from the Faculty of Forestry.
The Eberswalde campus is just 60 km from the German capital, Berlin. With its 17 degree programs, the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development has a unique profile focusing on sustainable economics. The University of Eberswalde is specialized in subjects pertaining to the rural development environment. Unique study programs, an international outlook, and practice-oriented teaching.
At the meeting, representatives of the two sides introduced basic information about the two universities such as the training program, research activities, and proposals, and discussed potential cooperation activities such as the exchange of students, exchange of lecturers, cooperation in research, etc.
