The event attracted the participation of numerous faculty members, lecturers, and students from the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, who are interested in modern feed formulation and livestock nutrition.
The workshop was conducted by poultry nutrition experts, including Mr. Tran Trong Nghia – Representative of the U.S. Grains & Bioproducts Council in Vietnam; Mr. Budi Tangendjaja – Representative of the USGBC for Southeast and East Asia; and Ms. Vu Ngan Giang – Representative of the USGBC in Vietnam.
Through in-depth presentations and practical demonstrations, the experts provided participants with specialized knowledge, technical skills, and the latest updates on methods for optimizing poultry feed formulation based on grain ingredients such as corn, wheat, and soybean meal, tailored to Vietnam’s production conditions.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Tran Van Thang – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, on behalf of the university, expressed sincere appreciation to the U.S. Grains & Bioproducts Council and the expertsfor their collaboration in supporting TUAF’s training, research, and knowledge transfer activities.
He also emphasized the critical role of nutrition in improving livestock productivity, product quality, and achieving sustainable agricultural development.

The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for lecturers, students, and technical staff to update modern knowledge and access advanced global approaches in animal nutrition and feed formulation.
It also contributed to enhancing training and research quality at TUAF, while strengthening international cooperation with prestigious organizations in the field of agriculture and animal science.
