During the discussion, representatives of TUAF and Professor Ryuhei Sano exchanged views on the possibility of establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two universities, as well as developing more specific Memoranda of Agreement (MoA) between relevant faculties and academic units. The proposed areas of cooperation include education and training, curriculum development, academic exchange, knowledge sharing, and research collaboration.
A notable highlight of the meeting was Professor Ryuhei Sano’s donation of several books on Horse Therapy to TUAF. The books provide valuable references for further exploration of this emerging field, which combines education, animal science, health, and human–animal interaction.
Professor Ryuhei Sano also expressed his interest in exploring the possibility of introducing Horse Therapy as a course or academic subject at TUAF in the future. He hopes that this initiative could provide students with an opportunity to gain knowledge and practical perspectives in a new and interdisciplinary field, while also creating a foundation for further academic exchange and collaboration between the two universities.
Beyond Horse Therapy, the discussion highlighted the potential for broader and more in-depth cooperation between TUAF and Hosei University. Both sides expressed their willingness to continue discussions to identify suitable areas of collaboration and gradually develop specific joint activities and formal cooperation frameworks.
The meeting marked a positive step toward strengthening the relationship between Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry and Hosei University. TUAF looks forward to further expanding cooperation with Hosei University in education, research, academic exchange, and knowledge sharing, creating new opportunities for faculty members and students and contributing to the internationalization of the University’s academic activities.
