The meeting was honored by the presence of Mr. Tran Nam Anh, Country Manager of ACIAR Vietnam, along with his colleagues. Representing TUAF were Dr. Nguyen Chi Hieu – Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hung Quang, President of the University; and the Head of the Department of Science, Technology and External Affairs – Dr. Duong Van Thao.
The discussion took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, providing both sides with an opportunity to introduce their institutional strengths, ongoing research activities, and strategic priorities. TUAF highlighted its expertise in agricultural sciences, environmental management, and applied research, while ACIAR shared its experience in supporting impactful research projects and fostering international collaboration in agriculture.
Both parties expressed strong interest in enhancing cooperation, particularly in joint research projects, capacity building, and the development of high-quality human resources in the agricultural sector. Potential areas of collaboration include sustainable agriculture, climate-resilient farming systems, and innovation-driven research initiatives.
The meeting concluded with a shared vision to establish long-term partnerships through collaborative research programs and expert training initiatives. This engagement not only strengthens the relationship between TUAF and ACIAR but also opens up promising opportunities for advancing agricultural development in Vietnam and beyond.
