On 9th April 2026, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) hosted an academic exchange session with representatives from Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia. The event brought together faculty members from the Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology and the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, creating a platform for knowledge sharing and future collaboration.
Representing TUAF, the meeting was attended by Dr. Luong Hung Tien, Director of the Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology; Assoc. Prof. Tu Trung Kien, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine; along with lecturers and researchers from both faculties.
The delegation from Universitas Brawijaya included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fadli Mulyadi, S.P., M.P., Deputy Director of General Affairs and Finance at PSDKU-UB and Team Leader; Assoc. Prof. Endrika Widyastuti, S.Pt., M.P., M.Sc., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Animal Science (FAT-UB); as well as Dr. Hariadi Darmawan, S.Pt., M.P., Ph.D., and Dr. Juwita Ratna Dewi, S.TP., M.P., Ph.D., both lecturers at Universitas Brawijaya.
During the session, the representatives from Universitas Brawijaya introduced their university, highlighting its academic strengths, research focus areas, and international cooperation activities. They also shared insights into their recent research projects, contributing valuable perspectives in the fields of animal science, biotechnology, and food technology.
Following the presentations, both sides engaged in an open discussion, exploring potential areas of collaboration between the respective faculties and institutes. The discussion emphasized opportunities for joint research, academic exchange programs, and capacity building in the near future.
The meeting marked an important step toward strengthening international academic partnerships, contributing to the advancement of education, research, and innovation at both institutions.
