The delegation from TUAF was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hung Quang, Rector of the University, with the participation of Dr. Dao Thi Thanh Huyen, Deputy Head of the Advanced Program Office, and Dr. Nguyen Thi Giang, Deputy Head of the Office of Science, Technology and External Affairs.
Representing Universitas Brawijaya, the delegation included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fadli Mulyadi, S.P., M.P. - Deputy Director of General Affairs and Finance, PSDKU-UB (Team Leader); Assoc. Prof. Endrika Widyastuti, S.Pt., M.P., M.Sc., Ph.D. - Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Animal Science (FAT-UB); along with Dr. Hariadi Darmawan, S.Pt., M.P., Ph.D., and Dr. Juwita Ratna Dewi, S.TP., M.P., Ph.D., both lecturers at Universitas Brawijaya.
During the meeting, both institutions engaged in meaningful discussions on potential areas of collaboration, including student and staff exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and the development of dual-degree or joint training programs. The participants also shared insights into their respective academic strengths, with particular emphasis on agricultural technology, environmental sustainability, and applied sciences.
“This collaboration opens up valuable opportunities for both institutions to enhance academic quality and expand global engagement,” shared a representative during the session.
The discussion highlighted a strong mutual commitment to building a sustainable partnership that benefits students, faculty members, and the broader academic community. Both sides expressed their intention to formalize cooperation agreements in the near future and to initiate specific collaborative activities.
This meeting not only strengthens the relationship between Vietnam and Indonesia in the field of higher education but also reflects TUAF’s ongoing efforts to internationalize its academic programs and expand global partnerships.
