Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) is pleased to announce an upcoming scientific seminar entitled: “Molecular Regulation of Madecassic Acid: A Plant-Derived Antitumoral Compound.”

The seminar will be delivered by Dr. Sara Lopez Gomollon from the University of Kent, United Kingdom. This event offers an excellent opportunity for faculty members, researchers, graduate students, and undergraduates to explore cutting-edge research on plant-derived bioactive compounds and their molecular mechanisms in disease prevention and treatment.

Natural products from medicinal plants have attracted significant scientific interest due to their diverse biological activities and therapeutic potential. Among these compounds, madecassic acid, a naturally occurring triterpenoid, has demonstrated promising anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antitumoral properties. Understanding the molecular pathways and regulatory mechanisms underlying its biological effects may contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies and plant-based pharmaceuticals for cancer management.
