On June 19, TUAF connected to Thai Thuy District, Thai Binh Province to hold a workshop on Agriculture and Rural Economic Development
Attending the meeting were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Van Dien, Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hung Quang, Vice Rector; Leaders of Departments and Faculties from TUAF. On the side of Thai Thuy District, Mr. Vu Thanh Van, Secretary of the District Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, and specialized departments.
Two sides already discussed and exchanged a number of issues related to cooperation. In particular, focus on building a model of New Rural building for the period of 2021-2025, vision to 2030. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Vu Thanh Van, Secretary of the District Party Committee suggested the specialized departments coordinated with the University of Agriculture and Forestry to develop a number of OCOPs products such as: sticky rice, honey products in mangroves, reproduction of some special fish species, training for district staff…During the implementation process, two sides will evaluate the results of cooperation.
